The main idea Geoffrey Canada had was that he wanted to get further into was how to change the education system for the next generation of students who will attend school. Some issues that Geoffrey Canada has outlined was how education hasn’t really changed, some schools would continue to stick with the concept that doesn’t work and cause students to fail because they are afraid to try something that may either work or not work. He also said that everything has changed instead of education, and that we spend billions of dollars on technology and also when the country Is facing certain situations that’s when we spend money the most. Some solutions he proposes is that we should design a network of support to help kids out. Create strategies to help them be successful later in the future. He wants to be able to allow kids to get a great education and to graduate high school and to move on up to the next step which is college. I agree with the statements that he made because I do think that we spend to much money on thing that are really unnecessary. We should spend money on education and to make sure kids get the best of the best and maybe even try to get kids that can’t afford to go to school to go to school.

The main idea of Ken Robinson was that we shouldn’t try to take away children’s creativity. Some issues that Ken Robinson outlined was how educational systems make it known that mistakes are the worst things you can make and when you say that to kids they’ll be afraid to make mistakes and possibly learn from them later in the future, during adulthood. Ken Robinson said, “ is your not prepared to be wrong you will not come up with anything original”. what Ken Robinson is saying is that when you don’t make mistakes or afraid to make mistakes then you cant learn something form nothing unless you allow yourself to make mistakes. We learn from our mistakes and that makes us better. He also said that the educational system is taking all the creativity out of all the kids in schools. some solutions he mentions is that we need to radically rethink education and how it works and runs. And that we shouldn’t really try to assume things too quickly, for example, the story he explained about the girl who wouldn’t pay attention in school and would distract the other kids, someone thought she had ADHD which means the student can’t stay focused in class and needs as much as attention as needed but that wasn’t the case for her. He said that when the girl saw the therapist and the therapist told her mother that she was fine but she just really liked to dance and told her mother to send her to dance school. And he finally said that she became one the best dancers ever. Don’t try to change kids creativity, let them be them.
